Yes, I’ve started a blog. Out of boredom? Yes. Out of inspiration? Slightly. Out of curiosity? Most likely. Out of want of change to the literary world?…………..I’m already out of my own control. This isn’t good. *sigh*
I’ve been meaning to start a blog ever since ‘Julie and Julia’ came out. It was a grand film starring the wonderful Miss Meryl Streep. I wonder is she still alive? No, I’m not insane. You see my plan is to read this when I’m older, wiser and richer. “Richer?” I hear you snigger? Yeah, well, shut it!
I love to procrastinate. I’m really good at it. And I mean REALLY good. I should win awards, but they don’t award dossers, unfortunately. So what I’m trying to do is to become more productive. I’ve got loads of ideas for animation but I really have no drive or ambition to get down to it! But 2011 is going to be the death of my expertise in procrastination. Actually, lets call it suspense. It’s a much more exciting word and sounds less like masturbation.
With my suspense tied down, I hear you ask what I’m going to do with my new self. Well, I have a list. I'm really good at making lists, it’s just performing those lists I’m terrible at.
Actually the first thing on my list was to watch ‘Randy Pausch’s last lecture’ on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo) ……..I got halfway through it. So when I finish it I will let you know! But right now? Well, let me tell you what I got up to today! Yaaaaayyyyyy!!!!!
So…I actually made a plan to do college work, and I stuck to it!!! Can you believe that? I got college work done on a Sunday! Ha! I’m a new person already! I shook things up you see, I got to do fun stuff as breaks between my college work. And by fun stuff I mean browse the web and upload new pictures. Yes, my life is in a hole right now. I find surfing the web fun. I find StumbleUpon amusing. I update my status on Facebook with odd phrases. I update my flickr account with new pictures. My life seems to revolve around the interweb. (I just had a thought to give up the internet for lent. I may actually consider this. I knew this blog was a good idea!!)
I also made lunch whilst listening to the inspirational lyrics of Rod Stewart.
He had another baby this year. He’s obviously still got it! And by ‘still got it’ I mean sperm. ………..Lunch was nice! I’ve never eaten tuna before but I bloody well ate it today! (Life changing moment right there…take note people!) I had pasta with Philadelphia cheese and tuna from a tin. Oh, and I also got married, virtually via Facebook, to a good friend of mine. Lets call her KateKaboo. She actually named herself that for some online profile things. I’m not a very big nickname giver. So…yeah, hitched at 18. I’m so wild, I need to be tamed………..Oh God. That sounds like a porno tagline. And yet I leave it in for the face palm. Way to go!
I actually had a really good day today! I don’t want it to be over yet! I’ve got college in the morning so it’ll be early to bed tonight. Poo.
I sound like a child! I don’t have to go to bed early! I can stay up for as long as I like Goddammit!!
Actually I can’t. I’ll upset my sleeping pattern. Not that I have one! Well, I do. But It’s a very bad one. I generally go to bed between 11 and 12 when I need to be up early in the morning. Sucks to be my brain!
And those pancakes are sitting nicely in my tummy. Yes, pancakes. No, I’m not fat. It was a treat.
